How many porta potties does a quinceañera need?
A backyard quinceañera of 150 guests that runs 7 hours with drinks needs about seven units. The base is three units for 150 guests, plus two for alcohol and two because the party runs past 6 hours. Without alcohol, five units cover it. Use the calculator for your exact count.

Which units do quinceañera guests prefer?
Quinceañera guests prefer flushing units with sinks, because many arrive in gowns and dress clothes. A good mix for 150 guests is two flushing units, three standard units and one hand-wash station. For a larger budget, a two-station restroom trailer replaces three of the units.

Where should the restrooms go in a backyard?
Put the restrooms by the side gate or the back corner of the yard, in view of the party but away from the food tables and dance floor. Guests should not walk through the house. Light the path with string lights, since most quinceañeras run after dark.
- Visible from the party
- Away from the food line
- A battery light inside each unit
- A sign on the back door pointing to the restrooms
When should you book for a quinceañera?
Book quinceañera restrooms three to four weeks ahead, and earlier for May, June and holiday weekends. Flushing units book first. Units arrive Friday for a Saturday party and leave Monday, at the event price. Ask for gray or white units if you want them to blend into photos.
