Do you need a hand washing station with a porta potty?
A hand washing station is required at LA County community events with food booths: one sink for every four public toilets, plus one sink beside each food-worker toilet. Construction sites need washing facilities under Cal/OSHA. For private parties it is optional, but guests and parents ask for it.
Sources: LA County Public Health, Community Events; Cal/OSHA Title 8 §1527. Confirm with your event permit office.
What comes with a portable sink rental?
A portable sink rental includes two basins on opposite sides, two foot pumps, a fresh-water tank, a gray-water tank, liquid soap and paper towel dispensers. The station arrives filled and stocked. A common two-sided model holds about 22 gallons of fresh water, good for roughly 350 hand washes.

How many hand washing stations do I need?
Plan one two-sided hand washing station for every four porta potties at a public event. For a private party under 100 guests, one station beside the units is enough. Food events need an extra sink at each food-worker toilet. A jobsite crew of 20 shares one station near the break area.

Questions people ask before booking
Can I rent just a hand washing station without a porta potty?
A station can be rented alone. Food vendors, pop-up markets, schools and clinics often add one next to existing restrooms. The price and delivery terms are the same, and it fits in a car-sized parking space.
Does the water come out warm?
Standard stations use unheated water, which is fine for private parties and jobsites. Some LA County food permits ask for warm water at about 100°F for food workers. Mention a food permit when you call so we can plan the right setup.
Where does the dirty water go?
Used water drains into a sealed gray-water tank in the base of the station. Nothing spills onto the ground. The tank is emptied and the fresh side refilled at each service, or when the station is picked up.
